A board camera viewfinder operates through a pinhole-sized opening. If they also have what is called a “board lens”, more light is allowed to come in and provides slightly better picture resolution, but a board lens requires a larger viewing hole of about ½”.
My Home Security Camera offers board cameras that appear to be clock radios and cordless phones, as well as many other hidden camera options such as a teddy bear, pen holder, cigarette pack and many more.

Pepper spray is one of the most inexpensive and readily available home security systems on the market. Since one of the recent blogs brings up the legality of pepper spray in the United States, I thought I would expand on the current known restrictions. Pepper spray is legal in all fifty states. However, you cannot carry pepper spray on an airplane, in carry-on baggage, or in any passenger area. The FAA will allow one container (no larger than four ounces) of pepper spray per traveler in checked luggage.
Certain United States cities and states do have restrictions regarding the purchase, ownership and use of pepper sprays. In New York, the pepper spray seller must be a local pharmacy or licensed firearm dealer. Massachusetts law resembles that of New York, with an additional requirement that the buyer must obtain a Firearms Identification Card. Wisconsin allows straight pepper spray no stronger than a 10% concentrate, but no tear gas, UV dye or combination sprays are allowed; the spray canister must be between 15 and 60 grams in weight and must be equipped with a safety feature. In Michigan, combination sprays are not allowed, CS is the only component of tear gas allowed, pepper spray can be no stronger than a 2% concentrate, and cans cannot contain more than 35 grams. In California, pepper spray canisters cannot be more than 2.5 ounces. Please check with local law enforcement agency to ensure you are aware of the most current pepper spray regulations in your area.
Deterrence And Evidence
Many people choose to have some real security cameras and some fake. This is a cost effective way to have plenty of deterrence and also have evidence if needed.
To make your fake security cameras look even more realistic, make sure they are set up the same way your real cameras are. For example, if your real security equipment is wireless, make sure your fake cameras are, too, and vice versa. It could be fairly obvious that you aren’t using all real equipment when some of your cameras have wires and other don’t. To fake a wired in camera, just use a hot glue gun to attach a cable to the back of your camera and have it run into the ceiling panels or wherever your supposed security center is. Now you have to benefits of real and fake security cameras.

A Great Way To Start
You can find fake security cameras anywhere you buy real security equipment. The cameras are very realistic and can fool any thief. If you are short on cash, the easiest way to go is with simple shielded or mirrored dome cameras… minus the cameras. Anyone with criminal tendencies will figure that there are hidden security cameras within the ceiling domes. A fake security camera is a great way to start in your personal security plan.
Catch Abusive Nannies
Due to their proven effectiveness in identifying abusive nannies and babysitters, hidden security cameras are becoming more and more prevalent these days. With nanny cams and hidden cameras, a childgiver’s performance can be observed and evaluated, so you can feel safe and secure when you’re not there. Without a hidden nanny cam in place, parents might never know for sure how their children are being taken care of. Hidden cameras have helped many people catch abusive nannies who otherwise would have continued to neglect their children. If you suspect your child is not being properly treated, get a hidden camera. It will provide you peace of mind, if nothing else.
Many Different Disguises
Are you searching for a nanny cam or some other type of spy or wireless surveillance product?
Here are some things to consider:
1. wired or wireless?
2. light conditions - do you need night vision?
3. what version would look most natural in the invironment?
4. recording - VCR or DVR?
Whether you’re a homeowner looking to prevent theft, vandalism, and property damage, or an employer who wants to check up on his/her employees and to maintain a safe working environment, or a parent striving to provide his/her infant with the best possible care, you’ll find a wide variety of hidden cameras in many different disguises.

Covert or Wireless Hidden Spy Cameras have many purposes:
*to prevent theft
* to watch employees
* to catch cheating spouses
*for covert operations
*keep an eye on older children while home alone, and with friends
* or simply to monitor a nanny or caregiver when you’re not at home
(This is where the term “Nanny Cam” originated).
A Wireless Hidden Camera is customer installable and can easily connect to a time lapse VCR or Security DVR, depending on your needs.
Legal In America
Pepper spray is legal in America, but a few states have restrictions, so before purchasing be sure to check what your state allows. Owning pepper spray is not only inexpensive; it can save your life! It is great for the elderly, men, women, and colledge students. It is simple to use, conceal, and carry in your purse, pocket or jacket. If you do not own one yet, don’t wait until it’s too late. Order some pepper defense spray today for you and your loved ones, so you will have the right protection when needed.
Mace vs. Pepper Spray
Mace was originally manufactured under the name “Chemical Mace” by Lake Erie Chemical (a former division of Smith &
Wesson) in 1962, but is now a registered trademark of Mace Security International. The Mace sold today by Mace Security International is pepper spray rather than tear gas. Many other companies now manufacture similar products. “Mace” and “Pepper Spray” are frequently used interchangeably. Pepper defense spray is used for self defense in many different settings.
Don’t Run Away
If you can avoid a dangerous situation before it happens, do so. Are there dogs in your area that are known to roam and cause havoc? Choose wisely before going for a walk. Always carry pepper defense spray with you. If you encounter an aggressive dog that is distant from you, don’t egg it on by yelling at it. Don’t run away. This can confuse the dog and cause it to react. Try to stay still if it approaches. Let it sniff you, it may just walk away. It may just be exploring the area. If the dog comes near and is ready to attack remember the spray you have and use it. Pepper defense spray is effective and safe for people and animals.
